New Wine Labels

January 23, 2014

Hello folks!

No news is good news, right?  Sorry, it's been a while since I've updated this here page.  The thing is, it's been a while since anything exciting has happened around here - but something has!  We just got a new batch of wine lables approved by the government.  They should be printing soon, then be sure to contact Mark if you'd like to buy some of the new wine!

The labels are my "Family" labels, including the Oldest, Second, Third, Youngest, and Only Child labels.  Check them out on the labels page or here below!

 The Middle Child

This wine is made from some grape vines which were planted on the property before the Newman's purchased it in 1995.  They were adopted by Mandy and have been lovingly tended since.  They produce a nice, sweet unique "mystery" wine (since we don't have any idea what kind of vines they are!).  As the label says, this wine tastes like "sunshine and neglect".

 The Oldest Child

A semi-sweet white table wine made from estate-grown grapes (an Edelweiss, Brianna, and/or Frontenac Blanc blend).   Tastes like perfection and obstinance, just like the oldest child.  Hey, somebody has to be the responsible one!

 The Only Child

Charming and a bit narcissistic, this little guy is sure to worm it's way into your heart!  Semi-sweet red table wine made from a blend of our Frontenac, Marquette, and/or Frontenac Gris grapes grown on site.  Coming from someone who grew up with siblings: it's not always a good thing.  Who actually likes hand-me-down's anyway?

 The Second Child

Tastes like competition and excellence with a bit of a need for affirmation.  This Semi-Sweet Red table wine is delicious!  A blend of our estate-grown reds, it's sure to please even the pickiest of palettes!

The Third Child

always a little different, this wine is just that.  A unique blend of red and white grapes, this wine is a delicious and flavorful rose.  Misunderstood third child?  Try this wine and you'll understand at least one thing about the third children - they sure are unique! (:

The Youngest Child

what can I say, it's adorable and sweet and maybe a little whiny (get the pun, get it?  huh?) This is a delicious sweet white table wine, made from estate-grown grapes.  Tastes like irresponsibility and optimism!  Sound like anyone you know?

Disclaimer:  We mean no insult to those of you falling into the above categories - they are described as embodied by the Newman family with all love and good-humored teasing attached!
