Thank you!
After almost ten years of enjoying the groups and individuals who have visited our rustic little setting, we have retired from the retail aspect of the winery. Our tasting room, wedding and event venue, and our campground in the vineyard are now closed.
People ask what we are going to do now that we have retired. We eagerly reply "We are going to visit wineries and go camping!"
Our wines will still be available at Louie's Meats in Clear Lake, HyVee in Forest City, and soon in HyVee in Garner.
Thank you all. It has been wonderful!
Cheers,

About the vineyard & winery
& the folks who run the place.

This is where we raised our family. The remnants of a tree house, a sand pile, and the old swing set are footprints left by the kids who are the sources and subjects of our wine labels.
99 Bottles Winery features a variety of white and red wines ranging from dry to sweet. Grapes used in our wines come from our own vineyard and never leave the farm. We do not import juice.
99 Bottles is run by husband & wife team, Mark & June Newman. The first grapes were planted in 2007.
In 2013, we added a wine cave, and the 99 Bottles tasting room was open from 2014-2022

Camping on The Hill
We're sorry, the campground is now closed. We've retired!

History:
When the campground was open, you could pitch your tent among the grapevines, or use the electric hookups for RVs. Phenomenal 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside, grapevines, and rural sunrises and sunsets. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing! Very minimal light pollution allowed for unrivaled stargazing at night.
Just a short walk from the campground, the 99 Bottles Winery tasting room featured multiple award-winning wines.
Amenities included on-site restrooms and showers. Tables, fire pits, and firewood were also available.
Nearby attractions include nature hikes at Eagle Lake or Pilot Knob State Park (both ~10 minutes by car), the beaches and picturesque downtown of Clear Lake(~20 minutes by car), and Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in Mason City.
