The Middle Child

Semi-dry Red

IOWA STATE FAIR

BRONZE MEDAL WINNER!

Named after a lonely clump of vines which grew here long before the dreams of a vineyard became reality. Although not always included in this wine, they remain an inspiration for what a little love and attention can create.  A good middle-of-the-road wine.  This one's great with steaks fresh off the grill.

Like a middle child, this one tastes like "sunshine and neglect".

BRONZE MEDAL WINNER!

Made from Frontenac Gris grapes,  this little darling is our sweetest white. Sassy and crisp, the Only Child has pronounced citrus flavors and is truly a summertime wine.

Bird Dog Red

Dry Red

The Bird Dog is produced from our own Marquette grapes.  This full flavored and crisp red wine is mostly dry with traditional dark cherry and berry flavors.  You may also detect a hint of pepper or licorice.

Bird Dog is named after Mark's 18-year old Brittany...the best bird dog this side of the Iowa River. He's gone now, but his determination and creativity remain an inspiration in hunting down a great wine experience.
